5 Steps To Weight Loss...
Plan:
Making sure you have a great plan in place will help ensure your success to live a healthier life. If you are not sure on what sort of plan is right for you, then enlist the services of a Health Specialist… Personal Trainer, Nutritionist or Doctor to help you. Once you have set up your plan you can get started. If you can afford it then check in with your Health Specialist often to ensure maximum results.
Fitness:
Exercise is a dirty word that no one likes to hear.
Movement, Fun, Action, Excitement… these are words that drive us to do what we love to do… and along the way we improve our Fitness.
Nutrition:
The word Diet has so many negative connotations that it does not inspire us to take what we eat seriously… especially when we are constantly thinking about what we are not allowed to eat. Eating is not enough… You need a Plan!!
Nutrition is what your body needs from what you eat… Nutrients, Vitamins, Minerals, Protein, Carbohydrates, Salts, Sugars etc…
Remember… Everything in Moderation …but focus on Whole Foods rather than processed foods. One Ingredient Foods are BEST!
Thinking & Feeling:
How you ‘Think’ about the food you are about to eat and How you ‘Feel’ about the food you are eating are just as important as Nutrition and Fitness.
Your relationship with how you relate to food can sabotage any Weight Loss or Weight Gain you are trying to achieve. Focus on turning negative thoughts into positive thoughts, for example… A chocolate bar is pretty much nothing more than Sugar… so if you are feeling hungry and a chocolate bar is all that is available… eat it and be happy because Sugar is quick burning energy… but it also means that your Nutrition Plan needs work as you haven't planned ahead to ensure food when needed.
Support:
Having a great support system in place to help keep you focused and on track is crucial to helping you reach your goal… and maintaining it!
So team up with a friend or group of friends to Walk, Run, Train or Work Out with and you will find yourself to be not only motivated and inspired ...but you will start to find yourself looking forward to your next session.
